Aelethion builds Athena for accountability in AI and automated decisions: inline AI controls, independently verifiable evidence and Algo Assurance for algorithmic decisions about people.
Athena has four modules: Data Control, Secure Runtime, Sovereign Compliance and Algo Assurance. Together they record what a connected boundary observed, which control decision applied, who took the decision and which integrity properties an authorised reviewer can verify.
Athena combines controls for AI data and actions, human-reviewed algorithmic decisions and independently verifiable records. Buyers should assess the combination against their own requirements and the alternatives available to them.

Aelethion is derived from aletheia, an ancient Greek idea often translated through truth and unconcealment: bringing something into view. The name reflects a practical purpose, not a claim that software can determine truth. Consequential AI and automated decisions should be observable to the people responsible for them and to authorised reviewers.
// The Team
Aelethion was built on one conviction: as AI moves from answering questions to taking action, the people accountable for it need proof, not assurances. Its two founders hold both halves of that problem, the engineering to make what AI does provable, and the enterprise experience to make that proof something a regulated organisation will adopt.
CEO & Co-founder
Reuben leads engineering and product. He built Athena's post-quantum sealing, verification and identity stack, authored the IETF Internet-Draft (draft-burls-mtac) that defines its evidence format, and filed the five provisional patents behind it. He comes from algorithmic and high-frequency trading, where a system that cannot prove what it did is one you do not run. He holds AI to the same standard.
COO & Co-founder
Brendon leads operations, finance, legal and the commercial motion. He has spent more than twenty years in B2B software and founded Newstrack Online, an enterprise software business serving large organisations. He brings a C-suite network across regulated enterprise and the commercial discipline to take Athena from a proven mechanism into the organisations that need it most.
