1. About this policy.

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on this Aelethion public website, including its hosted site address. Aelethion OÜ is registered in Estonia under registry code 17529868, at Mäealuse tn 2/4, Mustamäe linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 12618, Estonia. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

The controls on this page apply to this website in the current browser. They do not change Google account settings or settings in separately deployed Athena environments. Service-specific storage and processing are described in the relevant service information and customer agreement.

2. What cookies are.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and device identifiers. We use “cookies” in this policy to include these technologies where relevant.

3. Your choices.

The embedded Google Map is optional and stays blocked until you allow it. You can accept or reject optional content, or save your choice below. Refusing does not prevent you from reading the website, viewing our address or contacting us.

4. Necessary storage.

When you save a choice, this website uses local storage named aelethion-cookie-preferences to remember whether you allow the map, together with the time, expiry and policy version. This preference record is kept in your browser for 180 days, unless you replace it or clear your site data sooner. It is not an advertising identifier and is not sent to Aelethion by the preference control.

The record is restricted to this website’s origin: choices do not automatically transfer to another domain, browser or device. If browser storage is blocked, we can apply your choice only while the current page remains open and will tell you it has not been saved.

The hosting platform may separately use technologies necessary for security and delivery. These cannot be switched off by the map preference. This page does not claim to be a complete inventory of platform-managed or authenticated-service storage.

5. Optional content and preferences.

The Contact page offers a Google Maps embed showing our headquarters. Allowing it connects your browser to Google, which receives information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. Cookie use and duration can vary with your Google account, browser and settings. We do not access or control Google’s cookies.

Before enabling the map, you can read Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses cookies. Google may process information outside the EEA as explained in its privacy information. Leave the map disabled if you do not want this embedded connection.

6. Analytics and marketing.

This public website’s application does not currently load an analytics or advertising integration. Analytics and marketing choices are therefore unavailable and off. Allowing the map does not activate an Aelethion analytics or marketing tool. Google’s processing of the embedded map remains subject to its own policies.

If we introduce additional optional technologies, we will update this policy and the relevant information and obtain any required consent before enabling them. Unused categories will not be treated as consent for future services.

7. Changing or withdrawing your choice.

Use Cookie Preferences in the footer at any time, or the map control on the Contact page, to reject optional content. This stops future loading of the embedded map and removes it from the page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

We cannot delete cookies set on Google’s domain or reverse information already sent to Google. You can clear these through your browser or Google’s privacy controls. A materially changed purpose or policy version will require a new choice; an expired or invalid preference defaults to blocked.

8. Browser controls.

You can also block or delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Clearing this website’s preference record restores the default of blocking the map. Blocking storage needed for a requested service may affect that service. Browser controls do not replace the choices provided here.

9. Consent and personal data.

Optional embedded content is enabled only after your affirmative choice. Storage necessary to remember and honour that choice is used for that purpose. Where cookies or similar technologies involve personal data, the GDPR and applicable electronic-communications rules also apply.
